Webbing harnesses:
Compare strap material and width, adjustment positions and buckle configuration.
-
Mesh vest harnesses:
Compare the body fabric, lining, edge binding and the areas of the chest and abdomen enclosed by the vest.
-
Harness Shape and How It Is Put On:
Y-shaped, H-shaped and step-in descriptions identify different design features. Check the shape together with the opening and fastening positions of each style.
-
Leash Attachment Points and Other Features:
Front-clip, back-clip and dual-attachment designs differ in leash connection position. Tactical harnesses, harnesses with handles and light-up styles offer more options for your product line.
We also supply lifting harnesses, harnesses for pulling sports, grooming harnesses, working dog harnesses and car harnesses. Ask for the specific designs you need to review.
Harnesses can be ordered together with compatible pet leashes.
Compare Construction, Materials and Sizing
Openings, Attachment Points and Adjustment
Compare overhead and step-in designs by how the pet enters the harness, where it opens and how it fastens. A buckle at the neck allows the neck opening to be unfastened. Front, back and dual leash points offer different leash attachment positions. Also review the adjustment positions, chest and abdomen coverage, and handle placement on the sample.
Compare how it goes on
Entry method and buckle placement should be checked together on each style.
Fabrics, Lining and Hardware
Nylon and polyester webbing are available for strap constructions. Fabric and material options include Oxford fabric, mesh, neoprene, PVC/TPU-coated materials, cotton/hemp, genuine leather, velvet and RPET fabric. The combination depends on the harness design.
For the side against the pet's body, choose mesh or neoprene lining. Thicker neoprene can provide cushioning in padded styles. Hardware options include POM plastic, metal and locking buckles, plus plastic or metal adjusters and D-rings in different shapes, colors and specifications. We help match the lining and hardware to your harness design.
Compare Material Options
| Material option | Where it can be used | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Nylon / polyester webbing | Straps and adjustment sections | Width, thickness, weave, finish and branding requirements. |
| Oxford fabric | Outer panels | Fabric specification, coating, color and compatibility with the lining. |
| Mesh | Body panels or lining | Mesh structure, thickness, edge finishing and the coverage required. |
| Neoprene | Padded panels or lining | Thickness, flexibility, fabric facing and the required cushioning. |
| PVC / TPU-coated materials | Coated straps or selected components | Base material, coating thickness, flexibility and hardware compatibility. |
| Cotton / hemp | Fabric or webbing components | Fiber composition, weave, finish and care requirements. |
| Genuine leather | Panels, straps or trim, depending on the design | Leather type, thickness, finish and suitability for the intended construction. |
| Velvet | Outer fabric or decorative covering | Backing material, pile direction, color and finishing around seams and edges. |
| RPET fabric | Components using recycled polyester | Recycled content, fabric specification, and any supporting documentation required. |
Final material selection depends on the harness construction and specifications. Review the material combination on a sample before confirming your order.
Size Information for Each Style
We provide size charts, chest and neck measurement guidance, and adjustment information for the particular harness style. Compare these details and fitting samples before deciding how many pieces to order in each size. The same size label can refer to different measurements on different harness styles. Sizes and patterns can be modified when your product line needs a different fit.
Wholesale Stock Harnesses: Mix Colors and Sizes

-
5–7days
Typical sample lead time
Request the current catalog, then choose your styles and quantities for a stock quotation. Stock samples may be available free of charge. For samples requiring payment, the usual lead time is 5-7 days after payment. We confirm the schedule for free samples when you request them.
- Order dispatch
-
10–15days
Usually, after payment
We usually dispatch stock orders 10-15 days after payment, once the styles, quantities and packing requirements are confirmed. This is the dispatch period; shipping transit time is separate.
Add Your Brand to an Existing Harness
Orders for existing harness styles with your logo start at 50-200 pieces per SKU. The exact minimum depends on the style, branding method, artwork, and the sizes and colors you order. For logo orders, we confirm the minimum quantity for each size and color combination separately.
Branding methods include woven, rubber and leather labels, embroidery, screen printing, heat transfer, jacquard webbing and metal engraving. We review the artwork and harness material to choose a compatible method. For smaller branding orders, we can help you compare custom packaging with woven, rubber or leather labels. Product and packaging minimums vary by option.
Sampling & revisions
Sample fees apply to custom logos, colors and new harness designs. We can revise your sample, and sample fees may be deducted from your bulk order total, subject to the agreed terms. Samples with your logo or other custom changes usually take 15-25 days from payment. Your sample quotation sets out the work included and any additional charges for revisions.
Change the Fabric, Color or Print
Color, material or print changes usually start at 200-500 pieces per SKU. The exact minimum depends on fabric and webbing minimums, dyeing requirements and the design. Custom dyeing to a color reference carries an additional charge.
We can also adjust the webbing width or change the buckles on an existing harness design. Send the reference style and the changes you want so we can check the material and hardware combination before sampling.
Sampling & development
Custom samples carry a fee and usually take 15-25 days after payment. We confirm the changes included in your sample quotation. Changes to the shape, size or fabric panels also require pattern development.
Custom Harness Design and Pattern Making
Bring a drawing, a physical sample or an idea. We can help turn it into a harness design and sample, including changes to dimensions, the chest shape, fabric panels and leash attachment positions.
Changes to the shape, size or fabric panels require a new pattern. A new buckle, rubber label or other custom-shaped part may need a mold. Pattern making and custom molds carry additional charges, and the minimum order for new development depends on the design.
New custom samples usually take 15-25 days after payment. We confirm the pattern making, tooling and revisions included in your sample quotation, along with the development schedule. You can assess the sample and request revisions before confirming the harness specifications.
How We Manage Harness Production and Quality
Our Factories and Production Team
When comparing pet harness manufacturers, ask who will manage your materials, production and quality checks.
Harnesses are made in our own factories and partner factories. Our factory team handles design, purchasing, sampling, cutting, printing, sewing, hardware assembly, quality checks and packaging. You work with us to review the design and coordinate its production.

Materials, Sewing and Assembly
We use both webbing woven in-house and ready-made webbing sourced from suppliers, alongside purchased fabrics and hardware. Production includes material preparation, printing or logo application, cutting, sewing, fitting the hardware, inspection and packing.
Bar-tack stitching can reinforce connection points, Box-X stitching combines a sewn box with diagonal reinforcement, and edge binding finishes the edges of fabric pieces. We use these techniques where the harness construction calls for them.
Quality Checks
We check dimensions, stitching, buckle operation, appearance, color, logo details and packaging. Quality checks also cover pull resistance and broken needles or metal contamination. If testing is required, we can help arrange it to your product specifications and requested test requirements.
Packaging, Payment and Shipping
Packaging for Your Order
Standard packing is an OPP or zipper bag.
Custom options include hangtags, barcodes, size labels, instruction cards, zipper bags, printed boxes and packaging for harness and leash sets.
Custom packaging minimums are calculated separately and depend on the packaging style, size and print requirements.
Payment and Production Time
A 30% deposit is required, with the balance paid before shipment.
Bulk production usually takes 20-35 days from payment for the agreed order.
We confirm the production schedule based on your design and order quantity. Sample and shipping schedules are confirmed separately.
Shipment Arrangements
We support EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP and DDP terms, with express, air and sea shipping options.
Shipping options depend on your order and destination.
For light-up harnesses, we can provide an MSDS for the battery used in your order.
